2013 – getting serious
The Jack & Eddies branded product hits the shelves of Super Valu! The Kavanagh group were one of the first retail supporters of the brand, and the team remember dropping the Kavanagh name to many (initially) unenthusiastic shop owners to get Jack & Eddies sausages and rashers stocked in the store!

2010 – raise a toast
The sauasages are a great success, so much so, that on one particular Sunday morning after mass, over 40 extended O’Malley clan members  are brought together round the kitchen table to toast the famous O’Malley sausage recipe before it is officially launched to the world for everyone to enjoy! The seeds of Jack & Eddie were well and truly sown!
2010 – farm to fork
2010 – farm to fork
After a short stint in the world of biochemistry, eldest son Eddie, is passed the mantle of the family farm. In the late 2000’s, Eddie and his brother Noel spot a gap in the market, as many local people wanted to buy pig meat from the farm, and so the pair start selling home made sausages, (from an old family recipe) directly to some very eager customers!

It had to start somewhere! The earliest recorded O’Malley pig farmers were Patrick O’Malley, and wife Margaret Sammon. The couple farm the land in the early 1900’s in Carrarevaugh, Westport
